Well, North Carolina was fun.  We hung out with some of Allie’s friends, went to Smoothy’s church, did laundry at some college in NC.  Emotional-wise, it got confusing toward the end…

I just don’t know what to do.  We like each other a lot, but Allie still has a lot of reservations about a relationship in general, let alone with me.  We kept misleading each other all during this weekend, and only at the end did it become clear.

It hurts that we can’t be together.  Maybe we will be in the future, but for now, it’s just friends.

no offense, and i mean this in the most loving and caring way, but maybe you just need to realize that it’s not working and get over her! there are plenty of fish in the sea.

thats what a lot of people think! but i love allie, she has been a very good friend of mine. i care very much about her, and i don’t want her to do something that she will regret. i also care about drew, I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM! i know what it feels like to love somebody who doesn’t love you back, it sucks! it is much better to just get over that person. even though it does hurt at first, it will get better!

i just wanted to tell you how awesome you are :).
you are always so honest in all of your entries about everything that is going on.
i know that God will bring you this completely awesome lady someday. maybe its allie, maybe its not, but i’m really impressed with your patience through all that the two of you have been through.
you’re just a super cool kid.

amen..lilmissmisty!  you have said what i wanted to say quite eloquently!
darlin’ drew–your lady awaits you just around the corner….you just have to be patient until you find the right corner!  in the meantime, stick to the shallow end of the pond….there’s a lot of really cool fish there…..when you’re ready for the big fish, you’ll know when it’s time to jump into the middle of the pond!
